Event's IaaC - Workshop on Digital Fabrication at Montana State University

IaaC alumni Shane Salisbury, Monika Wittig (Digital Tectonics '07)and Mariano Arias-Diez (Advanced Architecture '05) as partners of LIVEArchitecture Network (together with Luis Fraguada, DT 07) directed adigital fabrication workshop from Sept 21-24 at Montana StateUniversity ( Montana, USA). The workshop focused on developing thebasis for a collaborative, parametric design approach--therebyemphasizing total integration between digital modeling and fabricationat a 1:1 scale. Students explored design-to-fabrication with GRIDCORE(a material fully recycled and recyclable sponsored by the developer,professor Julee Herdt of the University of Colorado).http://www.livearchitecture.net
