Filmmaker and Creative Director of the audiovisual innovation studio Hamill Industries.

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, she developed part of her studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, where she expanded her passion for cinema with avant-garde and experimental video practices.

Anna specializes in the development and direction of audiovisual pieces with a special interest in the world of creative engineering and visual experimentation.

She currently works with Pablo Barquin (Physalia) as founder and creative director of the interdisciplinary studio HAMILL INDUSTRIES, a creative studio specialized in bringing together technology and visual arts. They develop innovative projects based on experimentation and a mixture of techniques, creating new formats of visual communication.

The studio carries out artistic and technological research in the field of visual arts with a special emphasis on topics such as the exploration of light and sound and the observation of nature and physics. In their projects, they develop their own tools and inventions combining digital and analog effects in unexpected ways.

She worked in multiple media and formats, including advertising, music videos, events, art installations, and live performances. Her works have won international recognition in specialized publications (FactMagazine, It’s Nice That, Deezen or The Creators Project) and awards such as the GRAND LAUS 2020 in audiovisuals, LAUS ORO 15 ‘and special mentions in the STARTS PRIZE AWARD ’16 in Europe.

Hamill are regular collaborators with British artist and producer Floating Points, with whom they have toured the world creating their music videos and visual spectacles. Their works have been presented at national and international festivals and institutions such as the SONAR Festival, ARS Electronica, Matadero Madrid, the “Barbican Museum” and *The “Strand-180” in London.

Anna combines her creative practice with teaching creative ideation processes at institutions such as IAAC, EINA or the IED-Barcelona and has given talks and workshops at festivals around the world such as SheMakesNoise in Madrid, BLANC FESTIVAL- Barcelona, Hangar, BAU , Elisava, Sónar or “KYOORIOUS DESIGN” in India.
